All measurements are taken with the Nimbus line of digital weather equipment. The equipment is connected in series via RS232 to a DELL 1 GHZ PC running Windows Me. The program used to retrieve the data was written by myself using Microsoft Visual Basic Ver 6.0. The program automatically retrieves the data at pre-selected time intervals and updates an HTML file which is then automatically FTPd to my ISP web server. The FTP program was also written by myself using MS Visual Basic.
